What do we need to do to make these goals a reality?
- Cycleways and a pedestrian network that connect suburbs within the LGA.
- Public transport systems that meet the needs of residents, workers and visitors.
- A safe and integrated street network for all users.
- Convenient, equitable and accessible parking.

Council should work with adjoining Council's on developing a light-rail transit network with other key centres. Possible routes:
- Bankstown to Liverpool via Bankstown Airport and UWS Milperra.
- Bankstown to Picnic Point via Revesby Station.
- Bankstown to Parramatta.
This would assist in connecting Bankstown more conveniently to its suburbs, key job locations and other key centres and improve its attractiveness as a regional employment hub.

I would also like to include those of us who live in the eastern part of the Bankstown LGA, e.g. Greenacre. I regularly travel to the City, but I need to drive to a train station, generally Croydon (primarily because there is unrestricted parking).

The bankstown line should be quadruplified to allow express services to operate. A new bankstown station with four platforms to accomodate this will be good. And it would be good to connect the suburbs of bankstown and revesby? More sydney buses in the bankstown region will be good!
